Age related changes in the orbit around the eyes ageing in combination with loss of skin elasticity, tone and thinning of the skin, the infraorbital margin retracts giving a more sunken appearance. This results in formation of tear troughs. Prior to correction of tear trough area, we may need to treat ‘’Crows feet’’ with Botox® and loss of cheek volume with dermal fillers to achieve the best results.
